- What is "This Diet Works"?
- "This Diet Works" is Dr. Apgar's special program for physician supervised, controlled weight loss. You can read more about our program on this page (click here).
- What medications do you use?
- We use FDA Approved Appetite Suppressants and other medical combinations.
- How much weight will I lose?
- Average weight loss, if you follow instructions, is from 5 to 15 pounds in 3 week-visits. One patient lost 185 pounds in one year. Another in Virginia lost 60 pounds in 4 visits.
- How often does one have to come for office visits?
- We recommend every 3 weeks, except for our patients living far away - then we recommend every 6 weeks.

- Monday through Thursday, 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM EST (EDT)

- Initial visit is $110.00. This includes History, physical, injection, oral medications, and doctor's consultation.
Returning visits are $90.00 every three weeks. For convenience we now
offer six weeks of medications for $170.00 and nine weeks of medications for
$225.00
